Role Overview:
As a Product Designer at JessaKae, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating collections that align with our brand’s identity and vision. You will collaborate closely with the design, production, and marketing teams to develop designs that resonate with our customers, ensuring every detail reflects the quality and authenticity JessaKae is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative product concepts, focusing on women’s dresses and complementary fashion items.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product designs with the brand’s voice and market needs.

• Create technical drawings, specifications, and prototypes for manufacturing.

• Research trends, fabrics, colors, and design elements to inform seasonal collections.

• Communicate directly with manufacturers to ensure product quality, specifications, and timelines are met.

• Source new fabrics, trims, and production resources, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation to final production, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Develop designs with a strong focus on inclusivity, ensuring size grading accommodates all body types, including plus sizes.

• Maintain an understanding of customer preferences and feedback to refine future designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in fashion or product design (experience with women’s apparel preferred).

• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical design skills.

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).

• Excellent understanding of fabrics, patterns, garment construction, and size grading for standard and plus-size designs.

• Experience communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to manage the sourcing and production process.

• Ability to balance creativity with functionality and marketability.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take feedback and adapt quickly.
